Olivia Montuschi is a parent to two donor conceived adults born in 1983 and 1986. She and her husband founded the Donor Conception Network in the UK with four other families in 1993. Olivia trained as a teacher and counsellor and for many years worked as a parent educator and trainer, writing materials and running parenting education programmes. She is the author of all the Telling and Talking booklets for parents of donor conceived children of different ages and has written many articles about parenting children conceived by egg, sperm and embryo donation. She has also spoken internationally about the importance of openness in donor conception. For the last ten years Olivia has written a blog Olivia’s View on donor conception matters. She currently works as a part-time practice consultant for DC Network.
