Prof. Johnny Awwad

Prof. Johnny Awwad is an Executive Chair of Women’s Services & Chief of Reproductive Medicine at Sidra Medicine & Research Center.
Prof. Johnny Awwad has 25 years of experience as a Fertility Consultant. After completing a fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School, he joined the American University of Beirut Medical Center where he set the foundations for In Vitro Fertilization and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He then received his certification in Embryology and Andrology from the American Board of Bioanalysis as a high complexity laboratory director (HCLD). Dr. Awwad is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and founding Head of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He is also the founder of the Cryopreservation and Pre-Implantation Genetic programs at the same institution. In addition to his clinical expertise, he is an invited speaker to many international scientific meetings and is the author of more than 110 publications.
Prof. Assaf Ben Meir

Professor Assaf Ben-Meir is the director of the Fertility and IVF unit at Hadassah Hebrew-University Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. He is the co-founder and chief medical officer at Fairtility. Prof. Ben-Meir focuses on exploring the role of AI in IVF, in particular the analysis of morphokinetics and morphology for embryo prediction. Prof. Ben-Meir is the author of 53 research papers and two textbook chapters on fertility medicine, as well as the use of AI in IVF treatment. He holds a medical degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in obstetrics, gynaecology and reproductive endocrinology.

Dr Dan Nayot is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Future Fertility, as well as a practicing Reproductive Endocrinologist & Infertility (REI) Specialist and Medical Director of The Fertility Partners network of IVF clinics in Canada. Dr Nayot completed his BSc in Mathematics at the University of Toronto, MD at Western University, Master of Clinical Epidemiology at Harvard, FRCSC in ObGyn at the University of Toronto, and REI Fellowship at McGill University. He is committed to innovation and data-driven research to optimize the patient experience and expand access to fertility care. With Future Fertility, he brings his extensive knowledge in medicine and mathematics together to solve the gaps he has experienced in over a decade of clinical practice.

Dr Michelle Perugini is a health tech entrepreneur with extensive experience in healthcare and advanced AI technologies. Michelle is an avid supporter of the AI and women’s health sectors globally, and Winner of the 2021 Women in AI (WAI) Healthcare Award. She has a PhD in Medicine and was a post-doctoral research fellow in Oncology for a decade. She has founded 2 global AI tech companies, the first of which was acquired by EY in 2015. Michelle is now Co-Founder and CEO of Presagen, an AI healthcare company with a focus on Women’s Health. Presagen’s first product, Life Whisperer uses AI for embryo selection to improve pregnancy outcomes in IVF and is being used in IVF clinics globally.

Dr Piotr Wygocki is a Co-Founder & co-Chief Executive Officer at MIM Fertility, Polish best-in-class deep tech company specialising in AI solutions for the healthcare industry.
Researcher and Innovator. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, a PhD in computer science with a double master’s degree in computer science and mathematics.
